Context (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI incident assistant that works inside Slack. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at context.tertech.io and to the Context product during early access.

Information we collect

• Waitlist and contact details: work email address and optional metadata you submit through our forms (for example, which page you signed up from).
• Product usage data: when you connect Context to Slack and GitHub, we process alert messages, channel metadata, repository events, and related technical context needed to investigate incidents.
• Website analytics: aggregated usage data via Google Tag Manager and similar tools, such as page views and referral source.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Context service;
• Correlate alerts with deploys, commits, and rollback options;
• Respond to waitlist requests and support inquiries;
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your incident data to train public foundation models without your explicit agreement.

Integrations

Context connects to third-party services you authorize (for example, Slack and GitHub). Data shared with those platforms is also subject to their respective privacy policies. We request only the permissions required to deliver incident context in your workspace.

Retention

Waitlist submissions are retained until you ask us to delete them or until they are no longer needed for onboarding. Product data retention depends on your plan and workspace settings. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Security

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. See our Security page for an overview.

International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards when data is transferred internationally.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@context.tertech.io.

Children

Context is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16.
